Neal Soil Suppliers Ltd was established in 1992 by David Neal, and run from their premises in Rumney, Cardiff principally to market and dispose of surplus topsoil generated by the creation of feeding grounds for displaced estuary birds prior to the development of Penarth Marina and the Cardiff Bay Barrage.
The Company developed its services further and expanded in conjunction with the aggressive regeneration of the capital city during the 1990’s and early 2000’s; during this time both the transport and plant fleets were expanded considerably to service the demands of an ever expanding customer base.
We were pleased to have forged strong links with major national contractors during this period, principally built on service and quality, as a result, we have been involved in some of the capital city’s principal engineering projects such as the removal of demolition material from the old Cardiff Arms Park during its redevelopment into the Millennium Stadium, the development of Callahan Square, and the reinstatement of former landfill sites at Ferry Road and Lamby Way.
INVOLVED IN SOME OF THE CITIES MAJOR DEVELOPMENTS SINCE 1992.
The Company is still wholly owned and privately run, but has developed and diversified considerably over the past two and a half decades into one of the principal contractors and suppliers to industry for products including topsoil, subsoil, clay and recycled aggregates & sands.
