The principle activity of the business continues to be the supply of various grades of soil and compactable materials, recycled aggregates and soil treatments and continues to be the largest independent soil and aggregate supplier in South East Wales, operating from a 120 acre treatment and processing facility. As an urban quarry, it has the capacity to process in excess of 1 million tonnes of material each year, through dry processing and wet processing via its wash plant. The wash plant facility takes soil and hard-core material for process/refining producing clean sand and aggregate, enabling Neal Soils to compete on equal terms in the sand and aggregate market with a recycled product that competes with virgin material.
Its “muck away” facility can handle both inert and hazardous materials through the most technically advanced processes in Europe.
