Sub Soils

Subsoil is found under the initial layer of topsoil, like topsoil it is composed of a variable mixture of small particles of sand, silt, and soil but lacks the organic matter and humus content of topsoil.  Our recycled sub soil is typically 40mm down and is ideal for land raising, filling voids or commercial landscaping, topped off with a layer of topsoil.  Sub soils can be blended for your particular requirements with the addition of sands, composts or other minerials, please contact us for further details
